Alice work explores how smell is tied to memory. In her work she has collected memories and used the materials tied to those memories in her work. The ceramic glaze uses bread, the glass forms represent the lung and the nose. Her combination of glass and ceramic materials combined with the poetics of the writing her work presents us with, is creating new craft pathways for the future.
